Neural Therapy Mechanisms of Action
The term neural therapy refers to a form of treatment that functions by utilizing the body's own neurovegetative system.
Stimulus transformations and information changes take place in the neurovegetative system and excessive stimulus interferes with the production and distribution of energy. All neural therapeutic methods either energize the impaired tissue or dissolve energy blocks.
Neural therapy works with two basic mechanisms. The first one is the segmental mechanism. This is based on the injection of anesthetic into the segment where the discomfort extends and the connection of this segment with the spinal cord. The second is the elimination of the area of discomfort (the interference field).
Segmental therapy is concerned with the role of all parts of the segment as a uniform whole in response to important processes within the segment.
All neurovegetative system functions are related to the participation of humoral, cellular, nerval and hormonal regulatory mechanisms in the reactions in the system as a result of the adjustments between them. Any disturbance in just one of these mechanisms will result in functional dysregulation of the whole system. In other words, the disease will affect not only one organ but the whole body.
Neural therapy with local anesthetics to the disrupted segmental tissue not only interrupts pathological reflex pathways, but also repolarizes the disrupted cell membrane to the correct potential, restoring normal vegetative functions.
A previous or current local irritation (inflammatory, chemical, surgical scar, physical or traumatic) in any part of the body can become a pathological site (interference field) and disrupt the neurovegetative system, causing disturbances in some of the other body functions.
Neural treatment of this interference field with a local anesthetic can reduce this effect and an immediate reduction in symptoms can be observed. These interference fields are often localized in the head, especially in the teeth, tonsils and paranasal sinuses.
Life is not only bounded by matter, but also by energy. A membrane normally has a positive charge on the outside and a negative charge on the inside in the resting state.
Neural therapy is a Regulation therapy. Changes occur in the body before diseases appear. It is a branch of science that reveals that the basis of the disorders that modern medicine cannot explain and that are said to be related to the patient's own psychology is the disorder in the patient's stressed vegetative nervous system.
